This is the professional website of Laertis Dedes, chef and culinary consultant for restaurants and hotels. Laertis Dedes is responsible for any personal data processed through it.

You can browse the site without creating an account. There is no newsletter, user account or payment system.

We only process:

• basic technical information your browser sends when you visit, such as your IP address and device type, which the site’s servers need to run and protect it
• what you send us through the contact form: your name and email address, your venue or business name and its location, what you tell us about the project, the kitchen and the team, how you would like to work together, when you would like to begin and what you would like to achieve
• what you choose to send us by email, such as your name, email address and message
• information about how the site is used, from Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies

We use this information to run and protect the website, to reply to your messages and discuss possible projects, and, with your permission, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

When you submit the contact form, your enquiry is sent by email to our inbox, where we read it and reply. An automatic confirmation is then sent to the email address you entered; it lets you know your enquiry has arrived and does not repeat your details. The website itself does not store what you submit; it is kept only in our email.

We rely on your consent for analytics, and on our legitimate interest in running the site and answering enquiries for everything else. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

We keep information only as long as it is needed: emails, including enquiries sent through the contact form, for as long as the conversation or any resulting work requires, and analytics data for a limited period, after which Google deletes it automatically.

We share data only with the providers that help us run the website and our email: Vercel, which hosts the website and processes contact form submissions, and Zoho Mail, which sends the enquiry and confirmation emails and holds our inbox. We also share data with Google if you accept analytics, or when the law requires it. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, with appropriate safeguards in place.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
